Innospirational Words - Lebron James - Fueling Even More the Warriors Desire For a NBA Championship!

With the NBA finals just about upon us, and my fave West Coast team in the finals for the first time in 40 years (!!!), was feeling the need to do a "Innospirational Words" that was based more on words that fuel inspiration, instead of the actual words that inspire.

Case in point, Lebron James was asked how he can stop Stephen Curry of the Warriors..and he replied "Well, the same way you slow me down," he said, pausing for effect. "You can't."

Mr. James has the arrogance of your true sporting champs in the past, let's just say he is more akin to Barry Bonds than say Willie Mays...

The younger Stephen Curry has been getting all the accolades this year and well deserved.  The fans can tell he is a very humble human being, behind all the rainfall of 3's he's made this year, and the double dribbles behind the back to get himself open (remember Chris Paul falling to one hand?)...and the awesome no look passes and the non-complaining to the refs...and the pointing to the sky (thanks again, God!).

But the normally docile off the court Curry made a similar cocky statement...when asked who was better, him or Lebron...and he said "me...gotta be, right?  Yeah, I don't know. 'Cause he obviously demands a lot of attention on the floor, but I like to say I can distribute, get my teammates involved and be a playmaker as well."

But the difference between Curry and James, is that Curry is more realistic with his cockiness and on court play...he knows he is a big part of the Warriors puzzle with his MVP type play but that distributing the ball and getting everyone on the team involved is absolutely necessary to the teams' consistent winning..Conversely, James believes his team wins only because he is on the court...His attitude is... "Come crunch time, give me the ball...and stand aside or prepare to be knocked down by the mighty beast!"

Obviously, one of these players is a lot more more cavalier than the other...and Lebron James' arrogant words become innospirational words for every player on the Warriors team!  Just adding fuel to the Warriors already determined desire to place a NBA Championship Ring on their finger in 2015!

So bring it on Cleveland, we'll see who stops who!

Editors Note:
It's been two days since my Golden State Warriors won the 2015 NBA title!  I am very happy that the battle of James's ego and Curry's more humble ego counterpart, landed on the side I predicted!

Yes, James was stopped by the Warriors!
At times he could make shots seemingly at will but other times he was frustrated by some very tough Warriors defense.  It was most obvious when he was doing his regular bump and grind move down low and needed to pass the ball out to some of his Cavalier cohorts, who promptly missed their shots.  Shooting over 40 points a game doesn't always mean a win.  Most times it means you're kind of a ball hog and not getting your fellow players in any offensive shooting rhythm...

And a big congrats to series MVP Andre Iguadala!  He epitomized the Warriors unselfish play seen all season in their record run for the championship.  Every Warrior player seemed more interested in contributing any way they could to help the team every night.  No one seemed to care who scored points as long as they won each game...this unselfishness is hard to teach to some veteran high salaried players!
