They search across the nation (sound familiar?) for the next million dollar food-related idea from home style inventors. Perusing through some pictures related to the show posted online, I saw some Lifetime Brands folks I recognize, so they must be one of the corporations with some muscle wanting to capitalize on some of the food invention ideas uncovered in the show.
I am posting below the Food Network outline of episode #1 to give you a flavor for the new show"Invention Hunters":
"In Silicon Valley, the land of innovation and technology, Invention Hunters Steve Greenberg and Patrick Raymond check out three homespun inventions: Sippin' Snacker, a cup that holds both food and drink; Produce Freshies, which claims to keep fruits and veggies fresh for days longer; and Drinking Duck, a silicone cover for dirty soda cans. Emotions run high as one of these inventors gets the opportunity to pitch the product to buyers who can make their dreams come true. Who will it be?"
We won't know unless we watch; only then we'll find out if it matches viewers tastes...of if the public has a palate for another invention related tv reality show...
